“Enjoying A Class Act” as the Class of 2025 is Inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame
Top professionals and fitness enthusiasts traversed from all points of our great Nation to spend time in fellowship and friendship with each other during the National Fitness Hall of Fame’s Induction Weekend held April 5th & 6th , 2025. With people coming in from the coast of Florida to the coast of California, up to Seattle and back across the fields of grain of Kansas to the big cities of New York & Chicago; the NFHOF Induction Class of 2025 was truly welcomed into the “Hall of Fame Family.”

The individuals representing the Class of 2025 are terrific. It’s one thing to read the extensive accomplishments of these health & fitness professionals, but its surreal to meet them in person for the first time.
Dr. Jerry Moylan’s legendary feasts of strength and fitness endurance are nothing in comparison to his dynamic brain, that’s even bigger than his body. The Doc’s passion for getting people well, fit and happy is without reproach.
Kari Anderson is visually stunning; tall, slim and graceful looking and just as fit as she was when her produced her first video over 40 years ago. Besides releasing over 30+ best-selling videos and DVDs and being an internationally known presenter, this wonderful wife, mother of three and grandmother of four keeps busy teaching clients and instructing classes in her Seattle gym.
Danny “Mountain of Muscle” Torgl has a presence about his that is undeniable. Officially known as the "Master of Body Sculpting," Danny is a dynamic person that you must meet. Accompanied to the ceremony by his wonderful wife Tawnya (who is equally physically impressive) and surrounded by an entourage of close friends from his OnPoint Gym in Wofford Heights, these Californians came ready to party!
Several past inductees participated in the weekend activities including: Bill Crawford, Mark Rothstein, Greg Justice, Esther Gutiérrez-Sloan, Anibal Lopez, John “The Beast” Azari, Richard Derwald, Frank “Rudy” Ruettiger and Tom Campanaro. Tom is the inventor and co-founder of the Total Gym Co. was present to receive “The Hall’s” “Lifetime Achievement Award.”
The Induction Weekend was held at the exquisite Hilton Garden Inn Chicago O’Hare. Starting the afternoon of Saturday, April 5th with a VIP Meet & Greet where everyone got to remanence over the last few years. This was followed by interviews and round-table discussions covering all areas of critical importance to the health & fitness of our great Nation today.
Exciting displays were spread around the room which helped to showcase the great many deeds that all Inductees have done throughout their Hall of Fame career.
After a short break, several VIPs gathered for “The Hall’s” Annual Committee Meeting where discussions of future plans and continued growth were hashed out.
The next morning, following breakfast, several guests met at the hotel’s workout room and tried the NFHOF’s new MaXout Challenge (2025). This fun challenge is being conducted by the National Fitness Hallof Fame’s Fit Club and is going-on throughout the Spring. Everyone is invited to join! After a fantastic afternoon brunch, the 2025 National Fitness Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony began. Host and NFHOF founder, John Figarelli welcomed the crowd that gathered and brought each presenter to the stage. Presenters eloquently laid out the great achievements and accomplishments of each inductee as they in return gave inspirational and heart-warming acceptance speeches which really impressed the audience. Afterwards everyone took delight in posing for pictures with the newly inducted “Hall of Famers!” It was great to see that after twenty years “The Hall” continues to grow and flourish.
